Happy Halloween!

Jessica went to her first school dance with a bunch of her girlfriends! She was not very happy about me taking this picture, but she put up with me for a few minutes. The girls & I came up with the idea of being Halloween Beauty Queens - so Jess was Miss Teen Halloween! She looked very pretty and had fun at the dance even though she really never danced. She said a few boys asked her to dance, but she told them no! Way to go girl - if Gunnar had been there, those boys wouldn't have even asked. When she told him a few boys asked her dance he immediately asked for names and told us he would take of it (whatever that means!)Miss Tween & Little Miss Halloween posing for the camera!I tried to get a picture of the kids just standing there in their costumes, but Zach had to do a skeleton pose, and then Rylee tried to copy him. We had a good laugh at her imitation!
"Happy Skeleton" - the first time Rylee saw a skeleton among my Halloween decorations she was scared to death. I proceeded to tell her that it was fake. She kept repeating, "fake skeleton mommy" and then the next time she saw one she said, "fake skeleton mommy, happy skeleton!" I guess she interpreted the teeth showing to the fact that the skeleton is happy! So when she saw Zach in this costume we did the same talk until Zach was a 'happy skeleton'Trick - or - Treating!!Thanks to "Little Einstein's" Halloween episode Rylee had watched that morning, she knew exactly what to do and say! She had so much fun saying "trick-or-treat" and then holding her can up for treats, immediately followed by "thank you"!The kids immediately started in on their candy! How can you not love Halloween!!
